I worked this into our overall campaign by having the druid from "Lost Mines of Phandelver" (that's how we started) find my character as they were leaving Neverwinter. A little, "Hey, how ya been? The entire module works really well and is a fun one off that you can easily scale up or down for your group.

The only caveats I had are minor: there's no scale on the map but context clues say it's the usual 5' per square. Additionally, there's no DC rating for finding the tripwire on the bridge but so it be. I set what I thought was fun and fair. Lastly, and this might just be my ignorance, the cloaker is described as being willing to tell the party about what to expect from the giants but cloakers only speak Deep Speech and Undercommon so...
