        Almost perfect

I'm actively using this book during my campaign set in Waterdeep.
My PCs made friends with the Bimblefords, Eggard, Kheks, and Waguff.
I read through the whole thing, and I can tell a lot of thought went into it.
However, I have to give it 4 stars because it has a big usability issue.

When my PCs want to buy something from the shopkeepers, and I look at the list of items they hold, I have no idea what some of the items do. The only way to figure it out is to find them in the back. I think it would be much better if, next to the flavor text, there was some actual useful information about what the weapon does.

I would still recommend this book to DMs. Just know that you will have to prep the items before you PCs enter the shop.
